Our story began with the dream of a young girl who fell in love with fashion long before she understood what it truly meant.

From the time she could walk, she was surrounded by textiles. Watching her parents work with fabric, she grew up immersed in colors, textures, and patterns. Scraps of material became her playground. What others saw as leftover pieces, she transformed into handmade dresses and little creations of her own. What started as childhood curiosity slowly blossomed into a lifelong passion.

Every year, she visited her father’s hometown, Zapotlanejo — a vibrant fashion hub known for its countless boutiques and textile shops lining every street. There, fashion wasn’t just an industry; it was a way of life. The energy, creativity, and pride of the community left a lasting impression on her heart. With each visit, her dream became clearer.

She knew she wanted to bring that same spirit home.

Determined to turn her passion into something meaningful, she opened her boutique in McKenzie. Her vision was simple yet powerful: to bring a little piece of her father’s hometown to her own community — to share the beauty, craftsmanship, and love for fashion that shaped her from the beginning.

In honor of the place that inspired it all, she named the boutique ZAPO.
